Review & Advise

Phase I - Tax Discovery

We offer free consultations as the first step in your journey toward financial freedom.

At TaxRise, we only take on cases we are confident we can resolve. That’s why we give all potential clients free, no-obligation consultations.

Before your consultation, one of our resolution officers assigned to you will quickly review your file.

In just 15 minutes, we can determine your tax relief eligibility, discuss possible case strategies, and explain the next steps for resolving your tax debt.

Additionally, our free tax consultation gives you – the taxpayer – the opportunity to talk to a tax expert and ask any questions you might have.

Once you become a TaxRise client, we’ll begin our investigation.

Our tax professionals will let the IRS know that you have hired us to resolve your tax debt and obtain your complete IRS file.

Using Power of Attorney, our tax investigation specialists obtain the past ten years’ worth of your records from the IRS. We will also recommend that you start sharing your IRS letters with us; this will help us stay on top of all case updates. Typically, after the final resolution, we can stop IRS collections altogether.

Then, we run an analysis of your tax liability and unfiled tax years to determine which relief options are best suited for your situation. Our specialists will also determine if you have any underreporting issues or open audits.

After the tax investigation is complete, we will move onto the third part of phase 1.

Our team will then create a Case Discovery Analysis with the information gathered from your tax investigation.

Once completed, your Tax Resolution Officer will determine the best strategy for your unique situation. After that, we will reach out to you for final approval to move forward with your resolution.

After your Case Discovery analysis is complete, your Tax Resolution Officer will reach out to you to schedule a Review and Advise Consultation.

During this meeting, your Tax Resolution Officer will walk you through your Discovery Analysis, discuss any new or time-sensitive findings, and propose our case strategy for your approval.

Your assigned case manager will carefully explain our thought process.

They will ensure that you can see the connections between our investigation and strategy.

Again, we will not move forward with your case without your final approval.

Resolution Preparation

Resolution & Submission

Phase II - Resolution

The first step in Phase II is establishing compliance with the IRS.

During this time, we will file any past-due tax returns, complete your financial questionnaire, and compile your financial documents.

The first step in Phase II is establishing compliance with the IRS.

During this time, we will file any past-due tax returns, complete your financial questionnaire, and compile your financial documents.

You must maintain communication with us and provide required documents in a timely manner.

Finally, we will present you with the compromised resolution for your approval.

Once you give us the green light, our team will submit your resolution to the IRS and resolve your tax issue.

However, the final tax resolution is not the end of the road. All resolutions require that you stay in compliance with the IRS in the years following the agreement.

So, we set our clients up for long-term success. Your case manager will walk you through what needs to happen to stay compliant with the IRS and make sure you don’t fall into tax debt again.

Unlike other companies, TaxRise sets you up for success after our primary servicers are complete. By working with you to stay compliant and offering you tools, we’ll help you avoid tax debt again.
